Clan Name: Gen-Aug Hunter Class

Bloodline Name: Genetic Augmentation

Bloodline Ability: A specific type of military genetic augmentation, designed for infiltration or regular combat ops. The Hunter Class are quick, agile, and can generally pass for an ordinary human at first glance. Their anatomy, however, is far different. Redundant organs, alternate blood vessels and neural pathways, and an unnaturally fast and effective regenerative system make them incredibly difficult to kill. With their powerful immune systems and efficient metabolism, they're built for long operations in hostile territory, and designed to survive what they find there.

In their homeland, this would make them near-perfect soldiers, matched only by technological marvels and by even more powerful types of Gen-Augs. Unfortunately for them, they aren't home. They're surrounded by other supersoldiers wielding chakra, a power source that is completely alien to them. Gen-Augs are incapable of using chakra in any way. They don't have any more than the average schmuck off the street, and their brains aren't wired to use it. This leaves them unable to counter genjutsu on their own, their only option is to wait for someone to bail them out and try to tough it out until then. They also require a different diet from humans, needing a lot more protein and being especially partial to raw meat, since their body finds that easier to break down and repurpose. If injured, their body will reject and destroy any blood transfusions or organ implants.

Gen-Augs are extremely rare, and never native to the Shinobi Nations. With their entire infrastructure destroyed, there would have to be a very good explanation for how they got so far.

Location: Foreign, homeland currently destroyed. Can be taken in by anywhere, provided they can find a way to get there.

Clan History: The first gen-augs appeared naturally, in areas where classified military experiments had been taking place. Some energy released by the experiments caused a small percentage of children to be born as supersoldiers, seemingly designed for combat. Upon discovery, research immediately began to replicate their abilities, eventually leading to successful genetic augmentation, and the coining of the term "Gen-Aug." Hunter Class have always been the most common,More recently, military Gen-Augs started receiving gene therapy to give them weak psychokinetic powers, allowing them to fall more lightly, step more softly, and more easily climb sheer surfaces. Now that there homeland annihilated itself, all normal means of transportation to and from it are destroyed, and the radiation levels are still too high for any non-Gen Aug to survive. There may be a few hundred left in the world, but few if any will be able to reach the Shinobi Nations.

Clan traits: Physically stronger and faster than a human, able to match a taijutsu-focused shinobi without using any chakra. Their regenerative powers also extend their lives. So far, none has died of old age or even appeared to age at all past thirty or forty.

Clan Weaknesses: All gen-augs are incapable of using chakra. They are also designed to be sterile, to keep them from overpopulating.

Description: Uses the hybridized abilities to send out a pulse, pushing the target back with pounds of force equal to 150% of the user's weight. The force is spread out over the entire body, not doing any real damage but forcing the target back.

Description: Gen-Augs were designed to be able to recover from just about anything. Minor cuts and bruises will heal within a post or two, broken bones or serious lacerations will be healed after the fight is over, and lost limbs will grow back in about a week. This also prevents his body from noticeably aging, as they can keep making new cells indefinitely without breaking down. The greatest threat is from burns or acid, which change the chemical composition enough that they can't just reabsorb and remake the damaged tissue. These wounds take longer to heal as he has to remake them from scratch. Regeneration takes a lot out of him. While healing, they can't use their dilated perception, and will tire more quickly depending on the severity of the wound. If severely wounded, they will appear exhausted while they recover, moving slowly and clumsily. While regrowing a limb, they will need bed rest the whole time. While regenerating lost tissue (burns, missing limbs, etc.) his metabolism goes through the roof, forcing him to eat constantly to get the raw materials for the regeneration. Until he gets those raw materials, his body can't start replacing lost tissue and that healing will be on hold.
