A secret taijutsu that is orally handed down only within the main house of the Hyūga, this technique utilizes the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from all the chakra points on the user's body. It is also a defensive manoeuvre to compensate for the Byakugan's blind spot as the released chakra blocks any possible attack on the user. After releasing chakra from every tenketsu in their body, the user then spins rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a rotating shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any nearby attackers. The user can also actively control the size and power of the sphere to suit the situation. This technique is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack thus if they cannot spin, the user becomes vulnerable.

With the Byakugan's near 360° field of vision, the user envisions an Eight Trigrams circle. Then the enemy within this circle is hit with a series of violent blows. By striking sixty-four of the tenketsu throughout the opponent's Chakra Pathway System, their chakra flow is stopped, usually leaving them unable to even stand.

Description: A rather simple technique. While utilizing the gentle fist style, the user will place his or her palm forward and thrust it into the target's chest. The light tap of a flat-hand does not seem quite so dangerous at first, but a successful hit close to the heart can have longlasting damage. Although at first it may seem non-lethal, as the opponent's heart rate begins to rise during the course of battle, the damage will begin to show. Every beat of their heart from that point forward will begin to damage the heart, tearing it slightly. This damage to the heart and the Keirakukei decreases the amount of both, chakra and blood that passes through the victim. And in serious cases, it may send the opponent into cardiac arrest.

This jutsu is similar to the Protective eight trigrams sixty-four palms, but they are quite different as the later creates a dome while this one hardly makes a little net-like barrier.

Unlike regular scalpels, the chakra scalpel can actually make cuts inside the body without actually creating an open wound, limiting the risks of an infection.

The chakra scalpel can also be used offensively, although it requires great precision to be effective. Because of this requirement, using the chakra scalpel offensively is highly unusual. In heated combat, even the greatest medical-nin won't be able to exert the precision needed to make fatal cuts, but it can still effectively cut muscle tissues and tendons, rendering the target immobile.

Adding to the technique's blade like quality, it also appears to give the user an increased level of durability over their chakra clad hands.

Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique. With great practice the user can even use this from a certain distance away. Also, by sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state.

By releasing the great volume of chakra stored in her forehead at once, the body's cell division is forcibly stimulated by proteins, reconstructing all organs and all tissues making up the human body. The technique itself does not regenerate the old cells, rather it hastens the creation of new ones through division. If this technique is used, a body whose vital organs are so gravely injured that it cannot bear it any longer will be instantly restored to its uninjured state. As long as Tsunade has chakra it is impossible for her to die by any means, as such she gains a form of "immortality" throughout the duration of the technique.

However, a body's cells can only split a certain number of times in a lifetime, and by speeding up this process, Tsunade is basically shortening her natural lifespan. To what degree is unknown, but what is clear is that it is not great enough to cause her to die in battle.

Description: This is a forbidden technique that is accessible to those who have mastered the Creation Rebirth technique, and as such, is only usable by Tsunade. While very similar in nature to its parent technique — which facilitates the regeneration of injuries through accelerated cell division — it however does not require the use of hand seals, meaning Tsunade's wounds begin to heal as soon as they are inflicted. Whereas the Creation Rebirth technique needs Tsunade's input to activate, any wound sustained while this technique is in effect will begin recovery automatically. The enhanced regeneration granted by this technique is so advanced and fast, that even impalement by a gigantic sword through her abdomen was completely healed in mere seconds after the blade's removal.

Use of the technique requires the release of the Yin Seal, much like Creation Rebirth, but rather than just covering the face, the markings extend over Tsunade's entire body. As a testament to both its power and her confidence in its healing prowess, Tsunade has decreed that only medical-nin who have mastered this technique are permitted to break the first three rules that govern their role on the battlefield — which effectively prohibit their direct involvement in any conflict — that she herself established.
